Reflecting the history and heritage of Texas
Early Tejano Ranching: Daily Life At Ranchos San Jose And El Fresnillo by Andres Saenz (Professor of History, Austin Community College, Austin, Texas) is the story of the author's family (the Saenzes and the Lopezes) who established San Jose and El Fresnillo during the 1850s and 1860s. Drawn and composed from interviews, historical records, visits to historical sites, and more, Early Tejano Ranching presents a fascinating picture of life in the past, the daily work of ranching, the labor of self-sufficient families who struggled to surviving against drought, wild animals, and even Indian attacks. Early Tejano Ranching is solid and highly recommended representation reflecting the history and heritage of Texas. Also highly recommended is Professor Saenz's earlier work, Tejano Empire: Life On The South Texas Ranchos (0890968349)

People familiar with Early China will feel right at home with this material; people who are new to East Asian archeoastronomy will find a gold mine of information extremely well documented and explained.

Educational Facilities
Published in Hardcover by Images (February, 2003)
Authors: American Institute of Architects and Images
Average review score:

AWESOME
I was working on a school facilities project for my master's program and decided to take a look at this book. This turned out to be completely what I needed. I got a little bit of information about many different facilities, including the architectural firm that completed the project. While the book was not what I expected it did cause sparks to go off to think about things I hadn't considered, like earthquake proofing a school. Yes, it was something I knew had to happen, but it came into the light when I actually read it in black and white. Truly a must have for anyone considering reviewing projects. I even found my next vacation spot, Kansas City's EarthWorks Science Center.

English Sentence Structure by Robert Krohn
Eureka! I found the best English grammar book at last. The author successfully dissected and analyzed even the most confusing sentece structure.I have read and studied a lot of books to give me confidence in speaking English as my second language and none of them satisfied me like this book. I recommend it to everyone ! I am grateful for Mr. R. Krohn for sharing his knowledge.
